Mundus Novus Galleries was founded by Otto and Elisabeth Feiden. We are located near the Metropolitan city of Toronto, in the scenic and picturesque Grand River region of Ontario, Canada. Early North American history’s preservation and history education is one of our main cornerstones and objects. As an historian, Otto has, after a seven year research, located the long-time illusive Vinland and also the first Viking settlement in North America. In his recently published, illustrated folio book “Ho’p - The Western Frontier of the Norsemen” he proves without a shadow of doubt the location of this first European settlement on North American (Canadian) soil . With his book, he has uncovered one of the few remaining secrets in human history. Now, North American history - as we know it - has to be re-written.

We are specializing in the trade (buy and sell) of early and rare books in Americana and Canadiana, early World- and North American maps and prints and also in exceptional fine art. Our goal is to provide collectors and institutions with exceptional, fine, scarce and rare books, maps, prints and art.
